Hotel Kopala Tbilisi, Tbilisi

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were more like a boutique hotel, big enough and comfortable, with cozy decor, but they were very simple. The service was average, with small issues like being left at the wrong place and housekeeping needing improvement. The location, in old Tbilisi, was a highlight with easy access to attractions, although the dining options were limited. The facilities were decent, but I felt some aspects were lacking.

Staying at Hotel Kopala was a mixed experience for me. While the rooms downstairs offered a better view overlooking the Metekhi Church, I was placed on one of the lowest floors, depriving me of a view and natural light. The service was top-notch with Tinatin going above and beyond with suggestions, yet the dining options left much to be desired. The location was convenient but slightly confusing due to GPS directions, and the facilities were satisfactory.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of great experiences and a few drawbacks. The room I stayed in had a stunning view and a nice art nouveau interior, but the safe was not securely fixed. The service, despite initial problems, was friendly and helpful, although the timing of clearing items away was a bit rigid. The location was a bit confusing to find initially, but the management's gesture of canceling nights for free was a very nice touch. The dining experience lacked variety, although the breakfast supervisor seemed to have an attitude. The facilities were adequate overall.

The hotel offers gorgeous rooms that are very comfortable and clean, but noise from the main squares can be a downside. The service is a mix of quick problem-solving and helpfulness with occasional unfriendliness. The location is excellent for exploring Tbilisi, close to key attractions but can be noisy. The dining experience is basic and disappointing, with little choice and poor quality items. The facilities are adequate with some room for improvement.

I appreciated having a living area as well as a separate bedroom. The location was perfect, very near to the Old City, with stunning views of Tbilisi from the restaurant upstairs. The dining experience, however, was not as great and lacked variety in choices. Despite some minor drawbacks, the facilities were satisfactory overall.
